Visitors
The safety and security of our students are our top priority. To help us maintain a safe school, we ask all parents and visitors to check in at the main office upon arrival. A government-issued photo ID is required at check-in, after which you’ll receive a visitor or volunteer badge. For the safety of our students and staff, this badge must be worn and visible at all times while in the building. Please note that administration may limit or deny visitor access if needed to ensure the safety and well-being of our school community.
Volunteers
At Middle School East, we believe learning extends beyond the classroom. Volunteers play an important role in enriching our students’ experiences by sharing their time, knowledge, and talents. Whether you’re helping in classrooms, supporting events, or bringing unique skills to share, your involvement makes a difference for both students and staff. We are grateful for our volunteers and the positive impact they bring to our school community.

Background Checks for School Classroom Volunteers & Chaperones
Volunteer background checks are part of our efforts to keep our schools safe for students, staff, and visitors. Please see below to learn how to complete your secure background check. There is a $15 fee to have a background check processed through the school district. This is a one-time fee that lasts throughout your child's education.
School classroom volunteers and chaperones must have a one-time background check completed by ISD 885. Please click on the link below to start the process! The one-time fee to process a background check is $15.00 and all major credit cards are accepted.
