Visitors
The safety and security of our students and staff are our highest priority. To help maintain a secure learning environment, all parents and visitors are required to check in at the Main Office upon arrival. Please bring a valid, government-issued photo ID to sign in. After check-in, you will be issued a visitor or volunteer badge, which must be worn and clearly visible at all times while you are in the building.
Please note that, when necessary, school administration may limit or deny visitor access to ensure the safety and well-being of our school community.
Volunteers
At Middle School East, we believe learning extends beyond the classroom. Volunteers play an important role in enriching our students’ experiences by sharing their time, knowledge, and talents. Whether you’re helping in classrooms, supporting events, or bringing unique skills to share, your involvement makes a difference for both students and staff. We are grateful for our volunteers and the positive impact they bring to our school community.

Background Checks for School Classroom Volunteers & Chaperones
Volunteer background checks are part of our efforts to keep our schools safe for students, staff, and visitors. Please see below to learn how to complete your secure background check. There is a $15 fee to have a background check processed through the school district. This is a one-time fee that lasts throughout your child's education.
School classroom volunteers and chaperones must have a one-time background check completed by ISD 885. Please click on the link below to start the process! The one-time fee to process a background check is $15.00 and all major credit cards are accepted.
