Destination Imagination

Destination Imagination (DI) is a global educational nonprofit dedicated to inspiring the next generation of innovators, leaders and creative problem solvers. Student in grades 5th-8th are placed into teams of five to seven students and they choose the type of competition they wish to compete in, which culminates in a performance at the West Metro Regional D.I. Tournament. Students will practice with their adult advisor, who will set a practice schedule of one to two times per week during the D.I. season.

See the website below for additional information.

Registration will be done through a form. Completing this registration form does not guarantee the student will be placed on a team. Once you are accepted to the team, you will register online through SmartSchool-K12 Link. The maximum number of students on a D. I. team is seven. We can only offer the program to additional students with the assistance of volunteer coaches. In the event we have more registrations than open spots, students will be given priority if they competed or were waitlisted in the previous year.

Parent volunteers are necessary for the creation of multiple teams and increased participation numbers. Please contact Activities Director Molly Schleicher if you are interested in becoming a Destination Imagination parent volunteer. Training and materials will be provided to all volunteers. In the event we have more registrations than open spots, students will be given priority if they competed in the previous year.
