Mystery Reader Contest
During KORT on Monday and Wednesday mornings, a staff member read a section from a book. A video was played with the reader’s identity hidden. Students and staff members then tried to identify both the reader and the book to enter the contest.

Get Caught Reading Tickets
Students who are caught reading when they finished their work or other tasks put their names on a ticket and were entered in a drawing for a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble. Congratulations to Jonathan C. who won this contest.
I LOVE TO READ Reading Contest
Students will be encouraged to read throughout the entire month of February and could enter a reading contest. Students were asked to set a goal for themselves and record the amount of time that they read during the month. Those that reach their goal will have their name were entered in a drawing for a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble. Congratulations to Molly K. who won the contest this year!!
Scholastic Book Fair
The middle school hosted a Scholastic Book Fair on January 29th—Feb 5th.
