Students that are in both choir and band will alternate between the two classes.
The choirs will meet everyday for an entire class period. The 6th grade will work on music theory, sight singing, vocal technique, 2 part singing and concert music preparation. 6th grade has three concerts a year.
7th Grade choir meets each school day. Students in this choir will work on music theory, note reading, sight singing, vocal technigue, 2-3 part singing and concert music preparation. 7th graders will have 3 concerts this year.
8th grade choir meets each school day. Students in this choir will work on music theory, 3- 4 part singing, sight reading, vocal technique and concert music preparation. 8th graders have 3 concerts a year.
This is an auditioned choir of 7th and 8th grade students that meets before school, one to two mornings per week. They have separate performing opportunities as announced.
